From its humble beginnings some 12 years ago, the Edinburgh Photographic Library has grown to hold over 15,000 transparancies, half frames, 35mm, 120, and some 5x4s. Aerial material and a few prints are also stocked. The Library has 14 regular photographers constantly updating and renewing the catalogue. Contributions from new faces are frequently added expanding the scope of subject matter and techniques. We pride ourselves on giving immediate attention to all requests and enquires. Requirements and availability are discussed with clients before material is despatched, usually, the "same day". Search Fees are only applied to material sent.

SPECIALITIES Historic Scotland - all historic subjects but in paticular, castles, may of which historical data is available. Scenic Scotland - current, traditional, urban and rural topics in all seasons. Edinburgh - all aspects. Coverage particularly noteworthy Transport - Canals and railways in UK from 1960. People - Ethnic peoples of East Africa and Pacific Islands.
